More chances with lottery systems

Safer Gambling

We at the DLC take our responsibility seriously when it comes to gambling addiction and addiction prevention. That is why we offer you useful tips on how to play the lottery safely. Here you will find important information as well as contacts to competent advice centres and relevant forums. You can also set up a temporary break or an indefinite ban at any time or limit your maximum stake as a preventative measure.

Lotto is a game of chance - even with a system.
To ensure that the game remains a game, responsible behaviour is essential. Only play if you can accept the risk of losing your stakes. Gambling can be addictive.
Responsible gambling means staying in control, keeping an eye on the time you spend playing the lottery and never spending more than you can afford.

Limit your stake
A monthly stake limit of €1,000 is set to prevent gambling addiction.
Any reduction in the limit is implemented immediately. However, if you wish to increase your limit again, this will first be checked by trained staff in the Service Centre. If gambling addiction is suspected, the increase will be rejected.

Taking a break
Would you like to take a break? Then take a break.
You can easily set up a participation break in your DLC account. Under MY DLC > Personal area > Set up a break.

Please note that under no circumstances can a temporary participation break be cancelled before the end of the period you have set.

Setting up a self-exclusion
If you have the impression that you are playing excessively, you can also set up an indefinite self-exclusion. This allows you to protect yourself effectively if necessary. You can easily set up your self-exclusion in your DLC account. Under MY DLC > Personal area > Set up a break.
Blocked persons can no longer participate in the system offers until the block has been lifted.

Deactivate participation account
We also offer you the option of having your DLC participation account irrevocably deactivated at any time if you wish to stop gambling completely. You can easily deactivate your account online in your DLC account. Under MY DLC > Personal area > Set up a break.

Participation only from the age of 18
The use of our website is only possible from the age of 18. For this reason, we carry out age verification when you register. Minors are excluded from participation.

Take the self-test
The following questions are an initial guide so that you can better assess your personal approach to gambling. Answering them honestly may provide initial indications of problematic gambling behaviour. If your gambling behaviour turns out to be unproblematic - all the better!

1. are you unable to stop gambling over a longer period of time, even though you have expressly resolved to do so?
2. are you gambling more money than planned?
3. do you feel the need to win back losses as quickly as possible?
4. do you immediately reinvest winnings in order to win even more?
5. do you borrow money to gamble - or do you gamble away money that doesn't belong to you?
6. do you have a guilty conscience after gambling?
7. do you neglect your social contacts because of gambling?
8. does gambling affect your work, education or studies?
9. do you spend a lot of time thinking about gambling and quickly become restless when you don't have the opportunity to gamble?
10. do you hide the actual extent of your gambling or losses from your family and friends, or do you hide your gambling at all?

With at least one "yes" answer:
You have openly and honestly answered "yes" to one or more of the questions. This may be an initial indication of problematic gambling behaviour. We therefore recommend that you take the detailed self-test at www.check-dein-spiel.de and, if necessary, make use of their counselling services.

If there is no "yes" answer:
You have openly and honestly answered "No" to all the questions in our test. Playing the lottery is a normal leisure activity for you. If you are not sure, we still recommend that you take a detailed self-test at www.check-dein-spiel.de.
